Experience, graces the kitchen at Books to Cooks with her new book, Hiroko’s American Kitchen: Cooking with Japanese 
Flavors. Not a fusion nor a Westernized cookbook on Japanese cuisine, 
Hiroko’s American Kitchen treats local, 
sustainable ingredients with classic Japanese techniques and seasoning for a 
truly unique yet authentic experience. Join Hiroko this evening to taste and 
learn about her approach to producing classic Japanese flavours using local 
ingredients.
 Hiroko will be assisted by David Gunawan of Wildebeest while Masa Shiroki of Artisan Sake Maker will
